Reparative justice: The final stage of decolonization

Taking inspiration from Neo-colonialism: the last stage of imperialism, by Kwame Nkrumah thesis Lenin that Imperialism (is) highest capitalism, I postulate reparative justice is final decolonization (Nkrumah 1968). Based on argument in Counter-Colonial Criminology imperialism general form all types deviance sense acts seek to invade and colonize private public spaces others, conclude programs addressing legacies crimes committed empires corporations would signal stages decolonization. Contrary conventional assumptions criminology poverty powerlessness are major causes deviance, suggest power, not powerlessness, a more significant cause powerful relatively powerless alike because prey those even community while majority poor remain overwhelmingly law abiding rich get away with bloody murder, as Steve Box Jeffrey Reiman theorized (Box, 1993; Leighton, 2020). Accordingly, preferred societal response should be rather than punitive keeping paradigm towards humane world devoid immigration control, repressive policing, prison-industrial complex, racism-sexism-imperialism, militarism, homophobia, war drugs, capital punishment, homelessness, illiteracy, without state power class domination make way for principles taking according their abilities giving needs (Pfohl, 1994).
